Best Day Ever!  Take A Child To Work Day and Beyond ...

For those of you who have kids at your workplace today - think about the benefits.  Children get to see what their parents really do at work (no, they don't sit in meetings all day, have long lunches or boss people around), they make things happen—and the results matter.

At least that's what they could be doing.  If you're not living your BEST LIFE at work, let's connect.  It could be your workplace culture that's bringing you down or maybe it's just time for a change.

My kids are at work with me today; this is what we have planned:
1. New client pitch (they reviewed the deck beforehand)
2. Finalize the monthly newsletter for our client, Scott's Brix (daughter is editing the copy and providing art direction)
3. Photo shoot of LEGO mini figures (my son is taking the lead) for Scott’s Brix upcoming May the 4th in-store promo
4. Lunch at the diner (they'll order breakfast, for sure)
5. Coaching session for this incredible coachee who is looking to make a bold move (they'll step out for this one)
6. Follow up on some leads (we'll have a brainstorm on the type of clients I'm pursuing)
7. Walk around the reservoir (an A+ day deserves some movement and fresh air) to reflect on how much we accomplished together

They’re going to see a new side of me today—how much I truly love what I do. And when it’s their turn to find a job, I hope they go after something they’re just as passionate about. They've got some time, but I'm proud that my husband and I are positive role models for them.

Life's too short not to find joy in what you do.
