Is my AI agent manifesting for me, too?

The caricature it created of me yesterday wasn’t what I expected; it got me thinking.

Cheeky grin. Fab blowout. Mic in hand.

Not exactly my natural habitat.

Launching Cramer Connect three years ago stretched me in ways I didn’t anticipate. Blending two of my greatest passions (internal communications and coaching), has meant showing up more publicly to talk about creating workplaces where people thrive and business goals get met, pushing me well outside my comfort zone.

So when my AI agent (affectionately known as “Chester”) served me that version of myself, I was reminded that growth often starts just beyond what feels comfortable.

I use AI to work smarter (and yes, for planning trips, gluten-free recipes, and the occasional caricature), so it “knows” me pretty well by now. Which got me thinking …

According to a Gallup poll, recent workforce data shows that only about 1 in 4 employees regularly use AI in their work. And while some companies are leaning in hard (like McKinsey), humans still outnumber AI agents.

Which makes sense, because tools are just that - tools.

AI can research.

AI can draft.

AI can synthesize.

But it can’t build trust or read the room; it certainly can’t lift someone up when they’re burned out, overwhelmed, or stuck.

Culture lives in the human moments:

🌟how leaders show up

🌟how teams communicate

🌟how safe people feel to take chances

🌟how we support one another through change

So yes, embrace the tech - lean in.

Just don’t outsource the human stuff.

That’s where culture lives. 💙
